Bibler Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 19, 2026

Bibler ("the app") is made by Deox, Inc. ("Deox", "we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Bibler on iPhone or Android.

The short version

  • Bibler has no accounts and no sign-in. We don't ask for your name, email or phone number to use the app.

  • Everything you write and do in Bibler (your journal, prayers, feelings, notes, reflections and progress) stays on your device. It is never uploaded to us, and we cannot see it.

  • Subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google, with RevenueCat managing subscription status for us. We never see your card or bank details.

  • No ads, no third-party analytics, and no tracking across other companies' apps or websites.

1. Information that stays on your device

Bibler stores the following only on your device:

  • The answers you give when you first set up the app (such as your first name, if you add it, and the feelings and goals you choose)

  • Your journal, prayers, gratitude entries and answered prayers

  • Your feeling check-ins

  • Devotion notes and Walk It Out reflections

  • Verse cards, highlights, progress, streaks and achievements

  • Settings such as dark mode and your daily reminder time

We do not receive, back up or sync this information. If your device's own backup (such as iCloud or Google backup) is turned on, your device may include Bibler's data in that backup, under Apple's or Google's terms.

2. Subscriptions and purchases

Bibler Pro is an auto-renewable subscription sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google processes your payment; we never see or store your payment details.

We use RevenueCat, Inc. to check whether your subscription is active and to restore purchases. To do this, RevenueCat receives purchase information from Apple or Google and from the app, such as: the product you bought, price and currency, purchase and renewal dates, subscription status, a random anonymous app user ID, device type, operating system and app version, and the country or region reported by the store. This information is not linked to your name or email, and it is used only to provide your subscription. RevenueCat's privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

Your subscription belongs to your Apple ID or Google account. "Restore purchases" (and "I already have an account" on the welcome screen) asks the store whether that account has an active subscription. There is no separate Bibler login.

3. Things Bibler does not collect

Bibler does not collect your name or email (outside your device), phone number, contacts, location, photos, camera, microphone, health data, browsing history or advertising identifier. Bibler shows no ads and does not track you.

4. Features that involve other apps or services

  • Sharing: when you share a verse or journal card, it goes only to the app or person you choose in your device's share sheet. We don't receive it. If you choose "Save Image", the card is saved to your Photos with your permission.

  • Reminders: the daily reminder is a notification scheduled on your device. No notification data is sent to us.

  • Ratings: if you rate Bibler, Apple or Google handle your rating or review.

  • Crisis helplines: Me → Settings → Crisis helplines lists independent national services. Tapping one opens your phone, messages or browser. We receive nothing about their use.

  • Web links: Support, Terms and Privacy links open our web pages in your browser.

  • Crash reports: if you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple or Google may send us anonymous crash reports. These contain no personal information.

5. Deleting your data

Because your data lives on your device, you control it:

  • Erase all my data: Me → Settings → Erase all my data permanently deletes everything Bibler keeps on your device (journal, notes, prayers, verse cards, progress, reminders and settings).

  • Reset progress: Me → Settings → Reset progress clears progress but keeps your journal.

  • Uninstalling Bibler also removes its data from your device.

Erasing data or deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. To cancel, go to Me → Subscription → Cancel subscription, or your App Store / Google Play subscription settings.

Purchase records held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat are kept as long as they need them for legal, tax and accounting reasons. To ask RevenueCat-held purchase data to be deleted, contact us at the address below.

6. Children

Bibler is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
